Farm animals and face painting, Bouncy Castle and African drumming all featured in the fabulous Fun Day organised by WorldShapers Children’s Centre for children under 5 and their Mums, Dads and Carers. Even the sun managed to shine on Wednesday July 16 at the Woodhall Farm Community Centre.
Some children cuddled goats and rabbits, while others engaged in messy play activities creating works of art from sand, rice and bubbles. Many had their faces painted with spiders (in homage to Spiderman) or butterflies, while the bolder spirits expended their surplus energy on the African drums and the Bouncy Castle.
There were refreshments of gingerbread men and fruit, and a Prize Draw which was won by Charmaine Ford who received a £25 voucher for the Early Learning Centre.
